AIDS Resources of Rural Texas
Two Nurse Practitioner positions available for AIDS Resources of Rural
Texas. One position is in our Weatherford, TX clinic, 25 miles from
Fort Worth, and position is in our Abilene, TX clinic. ARRT is a
nonprofit organization providing medical and social services for persons
living with HIV and AIDS in a 26 county area of North Central Texas.
ARRT provides treatment and services to about 300 patients/clients per
year through our outpatient clinics and offices in Weatherford and Abilene.
The NP must be able to work independently, with on-site consultation
and supervision provided by a physician every 10 days. Additional
support and consultation is available by phone from the physician.
Training in HIV care is provided if needed, with additional opportunities
for professional growth available throughout the year. Clinic support
staff includes an RN, medical billing clerk, and patient care coordinator/front
desk receptionist.
Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with minimal on-call
duties. Generous benefits include paid malpractice insurance, health
insurance, sick/vacation time, and excellent retirement benefits.
