is a multi-specialty medical group practice affiliated with Northwestern
University and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Our expanding Hematology/Oncology
practice requires additional support in our Outpatient Clinic.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include providing
direct patient care, consultation and education to acute and chronically
ill Oncology patients. The ideal candidate will perform medical histories,
physical examinations, bone marrow biopsies and psychosocial assessments
of patients, order appropriate follow-up tests and procedures, etc. The
Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with a physician and with multiple
disciplines to provide quality management of patient and family needs.
Requirements: Masters degree required from an
approved nurse practitioner program as well as IL APN licensure, FNP certification
is desired. Oncology experience is a plus. We have specific needs in the
following areas: Transplant, Leukemia, Multiple Myeloma, Prostate, Testicular,
Bladder, CTCL, Breast. License/certification required: CPR, APN, IL RN,
IL PA-C
